Hardy Wood Designs stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We offer the following limited warranty to the original purchaser:

1-Year Limited Warranty - Hardwood Cutting Boards

Hardy Wood Designs warrants to the original purchaser that our hardwood cutting boards will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from the official Hardy Wood Designs website.

Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Warping or cracking due to improper storage in excessively damp or humid environments.

  • Intentional or accidental damage, including but not limited to drops, impacts, and mishandling.

  • Splitting or cracking caused by improper maintenance, including but not limited to inadequate or lack of oiling.

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to knife marks and minor surface scratches that do not affect the structural integrity of the board.

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning methods, including but not limited to washing in a dishwasher or soaking in water. Wood products must be hand-washed only.

  • Damage resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures (including direct flame), excessive heat, cold, or significant temperature fluctuations.

  • Abuse, alteration, or use of the cutting board for purposes other than its intended culinary use.

Warranty Claim Process:

In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, Hardy Wood Designs will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective cutting board with a comparable product. To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

  1. Provide proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, receipt).

  2. Provide photographic or other reasonable evidence of the alleged defect.

  3. Contact Hardy Wood Designs customer support through the designated channels on our website.

Hardy Wood Designs reserves the right to inspect the product and determine whether the defect is covered under this limited warranty. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the product for inspection.
